Founder & Director
James founded JHC Consulting Group to do one thing well: help companies build and renovate their businesses to scale with intention.
Over 20 years across construction, renewables, and professional services, he has partnered with founders and executive teams to align strategy, culture, systems, and reporting, so their people focus on what matters most and deliver the company vision to market.
Licensed Builder, MBA, AICD graduate. James turns ambition into measurable results.
Scott
General Manager
Scott is a commercial strategist with over 11 years of experience across consulting, tech, HR and business development. He’s built his career helping organisations navigate change and scale operations, with a unique knack for seeing exactly where businesses get stuck and knowing how to move them forward. Scott runs delivery at JHC. He owns the client journey from discovery to retainer, the scope, and the delivery architecture that turns the framework into work that ships.
Melissa
Office Manager
Mel has spent years across small business, hospitality, retail and professional services. Client-facing roles. Admin. Bookkeeping. She brings all of it to JHC.
She manages accounts, bookkeeping and day-to-day admin. The operational side runs quietly in the background because of her.
Experienced with Xero, MYOB and WorkflowMAX. She brings genuine warmth to every client relationship. And she's the person who makes sure everything is in order before anyone has to ask.
Cameron
Junior Consultant
Cam joined JHC to build systems and turn data into reports that actually drive decisions.
He works part-time across system integrations and BI dashboard builds. Connecting the plumbing. Surfacing the visibility leaders need to act fast.
He's also studying Architecture at the University of Sydney. That shows up in how he structures and presents information. Cameron believes good data should feel as clean and intentional as good design in the real world.
Daniel
Founder, Response Database Integrations
Daniel founded Response Database Integrations with James, partnering with JHC to give clients real control over their data.
With more than 30 years across software development, systems analysis, and API integrations, he builds the bespoke databases, integrations, and reporting tools that turn raw data into confident decisions.
Daniel believes clean data architecture is the difference between a business that reacts and one that leads.
